Fashion brand Lazy Oaf has temporarily shut down its website due to fire last weekend at its warehouse in Basildon, Essex. The retailer — which trades online and via a shop in Soho, London — said nobody was harmed from the fire but the incident forced it to halt operations for the time being in order to focus on repairs

Online shoppers using tricks to get discounts on the rise

Online shoppers in the UK are becoming increasingly adept at playing online retail sites to get discounts, using fake details and abandoning baskets to grab bargains. According to new research from email marketing platform Dotmailer, 39 per cent of online customers sign up to mailing lists to get better deals, while a further six per cent set up numerous customer accounts on the same sites to get multiple deals.
