M&S to close Neasden warehouse and open new one in Welham Green

Marks & Spencer is set to cease operations at its Neasden distribution centre and open a new one in Welham Green by 2019. The retailer said that while work at its Neasden warehouse in north London will be transferred to other sites in M&S’s network, the third-party operators of the site have placed 380 colleagues in consultation

Hugo Boss enjoys better than expected final quarter

Upmarket fashion retailer Hugo Boss has “achieved goals for 2017” following strong sales in its final quarter, as it pushes on with its turnaround strategy. Sales for the final quarter grew by five per cent to €735 million (£652 million), lifting its full year sales by three per cent to €2.7 billion (£2.4 billion), according to preliminary results released yesterday.
